Three 2012 Old Vine Zinfandel 750ml

A blend of 76% Zinfandel, 13% Carignan, 5% Petit Sirah, 4% Mataro and 2% Alicante Bouschet, this wine is a full-bodied blend sourced from grapes in ancient vineyards deep in Contra Costa County, with vines an average age of over 100 years. There's concentrated ripe blackberries and spices with some minerality present, a firm tannin backbone, and prevalent flavours of boysenberries and pepper, dark cherries, violet and coffee notes.
