Another fab Irish single malt from The Temple Bar! To clarify, yes, we're talking about the famed Temple Bar in Dublin. This whiskey spent its decade of ageing in bourbon barrels, so there's a good dose of honeyed sweetness in this one. Good for an Irish twist on an Old Fashioned, perhaps?
Nose: Lemon peel and fresh, sweet malt, with cinnamon butter in support.
Palate: Lemon curd and ripe peach, followed by runny honey and spicy oak.
Finish: Mace and cinnamon linger on a sweet, honeyed finish.
