Synchromesh hangs its hat solidly on Riesling and the producer is among BC’s finest. After experimenting with dry styles for 10 years, owner and winemaker Alan Dickinson knocks it out of the park with this inaugural release. Compellingly scented with ripe peach, pear and mango and nuanced by sage flowers and wild mint. Almost plump as far as Riesling goes, this tightens up with a powerful spine-tingling undertow. The finish is a long rinse cycle of lime and crushed granite.
