"Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2010 Bete Noir Shiraz opens a little reduced with macerated blackberries and blueberries over underlying notes of pepper and bacon with a whiff of licorice. Medium to full-bodied, the fruit is rich, ripe and quite pure in the mouth and is structured by a crisp acid line and medium to firm levels of grainy tannins. It concludes with a very fine, long and peppery finish. Drink it now to 2020+. 93+ points"
