This wine hails from Terre Siciliane, an Italian IGP that covers the entire region of Sicily. One of the region's main grapes, Nero d'Avola, is blended with equal parts Merlot to create a dry, medium-bodied red that will suit your favourite tomato-based pastas and pizzas. The spicy and woody characteristics of this wine compliment its fleshy tannins and round palate. Decent acidity and medium finish.
