THE DAVEY ESTATE VINEYARD
The Davey Estate Vineyard is located in Whites Valley, at the southern end of the acclaimed McLaren Vale wine region. Brothers Kym and John Davey planted their vineyard on land that the family has owned since 1959. The site is dedicated to producing high quality, intensely coloured and
flavoured grapes using innovative canopy management and progressive viticultural techniques. The name “Haycutters” refers to the vineyard block that was used to grow hay for their Grandfather’s dairy herd. The high calcium soil that was excellent for raising strong, young heifers is also ideal for growing vines. The cool climate Adelaide Hills region is lauded as one of the benchmark regions in Australia to grow Sauvignon Blanc; grapes for this wine have been carefully selected from a picturesque vineyard near Woodside.
TASTING NOTE
Light straw with green tints. The lifted fragrances are redolent of guava, candied pineapple, lemongrass and citrus blossom. The palate delivers on the promise of the nose, overflowing with flavours of pink grapefruit, honeydew melon and citrus zest, all contained with mineral elements and a fresh natural acidity.

We use Canada Post for the majority of deliveries and a courier for those nearest our location. If you are not at home when Canada Post attempts delivery of your package, they will leave a note with the nearest pickup location. By law, we cannot ship outside of the province and packages delivered by Canada Post cannot be left on the doorstep. Orders for downtown Vancouver may arrive the same or next day depending on time of order. Order cut-off is generally 10am PST on a best-effort basis. We will contact you if we require more information to set up delivery.
