Described as seductive, elusive, and ethereal, Pinot Noir is considered by some to be the Holy Grail of wines. Discover why it is known as "The Heartbreak Grape."
Valued by enthusiasts and sought out by collectors, join our resident Sommelier, Pam Cohen, in a guided tasting of examples from regions around the world. Participants will learn why this grape demands as much from the grower as it does from the winemaker. There will be discussion of this grape's historical home in Burgundy, the role of the "negociant," how to decipher the wine label, and how to pair with food and serve this singularly distinctive wine.
