Santa Margherita 2018 Stilrose 750ml

At the height of summer, this sample showed up at my house packed in a beach bag. The 2018 Riviera del Garda Classico Chiaretto Stilrose is quite obviously being marketed for summer sipping, and easy summer sipping is exactly what you get here. Packaged in a squat bottle with wide shoulders, the wine shows a medium pink-raspberry color. Honey, peach and tart cranberry juice join forces on the bouquet. There is a touch of bitter almond on the close.
