Description
Highgate gin distillers Sacred Spirits use English wine flavoured with thyme and Somerset wormwood amongst other botanicals to create this rich, spicy vermouth with an 'English herb garden' character.
Nose: Spices, aniseed and dark chocolate on the nose with a suggestion of mint and cinnamon.
Palate: The palate is full-bodied with red fruit flavours of cranberry and redcurrant with pinpointed notes of orange zest, winter spices and bitter cacao.
Finish: The finish is refreshing with notes of thyme, liquorish and concentrated red berry fruits.
Overall: This is a full-bodied vermouth, very rich in flavour and is perfect in a Negroni with the Sacred Gin and some Campari. Top quality stuff!
