Warmer weather prevailed in the Languedoc winter through spring, followed by a hot July, and finally a rainy August and mild but dry September. Some have already commented that this 2015 vintage is one of the better releases of Baron Philippe de Rothschild's entry-level Sauvignon Blanc.
This wine opens with attractive aromas of pink grapefruit, citrus, and white flowers. In the mouth, this wine tastes supple and fruity, with bright acidity and a crisp, clean finish. This refreshing, tangy wine goes well with light lunches, grilled shrimp, and green salads.
