Roberto Henriquez 2020 Corinto Super Estrella 750ml

2020 Corinto Super Estrella was produced with Corinto or Chasselas grapes from 100-year-old vines on granite soils in the village of Coelemu in Itata. It fermented with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats and was in contact with the skins for eight months followed by five months in used barrels. It does have a deep golden color and some fine tannins, but somehow it's not dominated by the skins, as I often find in "orange" wines. It has notes of yellow fruit and an earthy touch, a light to medium-bodied palate and a dry finish. Tasty. It's only 11.1% alcohol.
