The 2018 Revancha Malbec has a reductive and flinty nose that is also reminiscent of toasted sesame seeds, which are distinct. It contains 4% Cabernet Franc from vines planted in 2010 and fermented with indigenous yeasts; half of the wine matured in French oak barrels for one year. It's young, juicy, spicy and with a medium-bodied palate with good freshness and a gentle mouthfeel. The tannins are round and fine-grained. 6,700 bottles produced. It was bottled in January 2021.
