Pouring a pale pink hue, the 2020 QG Rosé is based on pinot noir and gamay (though it wasn't clear if pinot meunier was tipped in, as it was for the first time in the 2019 vintage). Each was vinified separately and coolly in stainless after 1 hour skin contact, and was blended post ferment. This is a slender, sleek, lighter pink, with crushed strawberries, pretty pink florals, and a slick of rasped spice and twist of orange on the bright finish. Less is more, and the captured it here in this easy, crack-now rosé, ideal for this summer.
