"Medium ruby colored, the 2011 Earth Smoke Pinot Noir has quite a savory nose with notes of smoked meat, damp loam and oolong tea over a core of kirsch and black raspberries plus a whiff of dried lavender. Medium-bodied with great intensity of the palate, it has a good structure of medium level, fine-grained tannins and lively acidity before it finishes long with the red fruits shining through. Drink it now to 2018+.  93 points"
