Notes of toasted oak and vanilla biscuit are balanced with the stone fruit flavours in this well rounded, elegant wine. Harvested from 28 year old vines on the Naramata Bench our 2016 Chardonnay was gently pressed, barrel fermented and aged in French Oak. As with all Woodward Collection wines this wine lies down for an additional year in the bottle. With its refreshing stone fruit notes, this Chardonnay pairs beautifully with rich dishes like steak bernaise, creamy risotto or eggs benedict with Hollandaise sauce! Equally as nice are grilled chops with a selection of summer fresh red peppers, butternut squash and fresh baby potatoes with a hint of dill.
