Post House 2008 Missing Virgin 750ml

The name refers to a printing error on a Virgin Island Stamp.  The virgin figure was omitted when printing and hence the nickname for the stamp.  A blend of 70% Pinotage and 30% Petit Verdot gives the wine an inky garnet colour. Red fruits with blueberry muffins and heath on the nose.  Rich and textured, lots of supple tannins rounding into a medium long finish. Enjoy with goose, rabbit or other game.

"Dark, but polished, with lots of sweet toast and dark licorice framing the core of crushed plum and black currant fruit. Slightly roasted and jammy through the finish, but a streak of grip keeps this honest enough. Pinotage and Petit Verdot. Drink now. 500 cases made.
