Juicy, zesty, waxy. The Spotlight Series is an entry level tier, and this Semillon was half barrel-aged in oak for 8 months and the other portion was aged on lees and stirred weekly in stainless for 6 months before blending the final wine. Lemon wax and pine needles, gooseberry, honeycomb and mountain stream aromas lead to a zesty palate with lemon oil and resin flavours. The finish is pithy.
