"Bodegas Pio del Ramo comes from the Spanish region of Jumilla, in the South East corner of the country. This is a hot area, with plenty of sunshine, that is known for producing rich, full bodied wines specializing in the Monastrell (AKA Mourvedre in France and Motaro in Australia) grape variety. On top of that, Jumilla is also known for the terrific value of the wines that come from the area. This wine starts off with bold aromatics reminiscent of blueberry, thyme and chocolate-y coffee. Bold flavours on the palette, this is a dark, deep and rich wine with obvious tannin and a lot of structure, this is a classic Southern Spanish wine that just exhudes flavour and sunshine"
