The 2018 Syrah North Coast captures the essence of the house style so well. Dark fruit, black pepper, mint, lavender and espresso are all amped up in a juicy, wonderfully inviting Syrah that will drink well right out of the gate. Think of the North Coast Syrah as the rough equivalent of what a second wine to the Sonoma Hillsides might taste like. The tannins are a bit firm, but this is also a $30 (USD) wine.
