Powerfully expressive and energetic, this is a classic “Grand Côte” with endless complexity and depth. Aromas combine almonds, spring flowers, herbs and a bit of flinty smoke. It’s the Cotat magic that makes this wine lush and precise at once; plush flavors of pears in syrup blend with the tang of candied lemons, sea salt and the savory notes of roasted hazelnut. Long, vibrant and very captivating. Some of Pascal’s lowest-yielding vines (and most 60+ years old) grow on these chalky soils.
