This blend is heavy Shiraz (85%) and the rest Malbec. The fruit and spice of the Shiraz with the to pair with your pizza, baked meatballs, and steak frites. On the nose, aromas of berry, dark cherry, and hints of coffee. Dry on the palate, lots of dark fruit upfront with soft ripe tannins and a pleasant finish.
Grape Varieties: 85% Shiraz (Rivadavia and Tupungato); 15% Malbec (Maipú).
Vinification: grapes were destemmed and crushed. 50% termoflash and 50% traditional vinification: maceration during 30 hours at 15ºC before fermentation. 8 days of fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 24 - 26ºC.
Pre-bottling Operations: Filtration with 0,65 µm absolute membrane.
Alcohol content: 12 % Vol (20º C)
Total Acidity: 5.65 g/l tartaric acid
Residual Sugar: 5.5 g/l
Serving Temperature: 16-18ºC
