This youthful and highly enjoyable Navarrese wine is made from Tempranillo and Garnacha grapes. Navarra is a Spanish DO with its vineyards on the lower slopes of the Pyrenees. Historical data suggests the start of wine production here during Roman times around 2nd century BC. Navarra was once known for producing rosé, but today is noted for producing high quality reds and whites as well. There are aromas of fresh red fruit and wildflowers, and juicy refreshing flavours of wild strawberry and tart mountain berries. Uncomplicated and fun, this wine will pair well with appies, roasted veggies, and sauteed mushrooms.
