Grown on three hectares of red and dark brown calcareous and clay soils in Valpolicella Classica, this Amarone is comprised of 80% Corvina and 20$ Rondinella grapes. Aged for 60 months in French oak barrels and 12 months in tanks. On the nose, complex aromas of black cherry, blueberry, and chocolate. Expressive ripe fruits on the palate with a finish of sinuous tobacco and new leather notes. Pair with main course red meat dishes, mature cheeses, and dark chocolate. Decant for at least two hours before drinking. This wine can also be cellared for 25 years.
