Description
Old Ballantruan is a superb peated malt, produced at Speyside's Tomintoul distillery using heavily peated barley. This is the first ever bottling with an age statement, and it comes at a punchy 50%ABV. Very good stuff!
Nose: Soft spices and rich peat note. Very punchy and intense, with some inviting vanilla notes.
Palate: Simple and balanced with a solid delivery of rich peat smoke and hints of black pepper.
Finish: Intense and spicy with a crescendo of wood smoke and tar.
Overall: Not overly complex, this is a simple though very enjoyable peated Speyside malt...

We use Canada Post for the majority of deliveries and a courier for those nearest our location. If you are not at home when Canada Post attempts delivery of your package, they will leave a note with the nearest pickup location. We cannot ship outside of the province and packages delivered by Canada Post cannot be left on the doorstep because there is an age check requirement (19+) for alcohol. Packages shipped to downtown Vancouver may arrive the same day or next day depending on time of order. Order cut-off is generally 12pm on a best-efforts basis. We will contact you if we require more information to set up delivery.
