THIS IS THE MAGNUM 1.5L SIZE BOTTLE
This smells and tastes like a classic California Cabernet. It's full of spicy oak aromas and big, ripe fruit flavors supported by firm tannins for a rich, mouthcoating effect and a lingering finish. Grown in a high-elevation vineyard and aged in all Hungarian oak barrels, it will be best after 2023.

Red Hills, one of the newest AVAs—okay, fairly new, its effective date was September 10, 2004—has been coming to the fore of late with some excellent wines. The 2016 Obsidian Estate Cabernet Sauvignon speaks well of this wine growing region. This is a smooth and satisfying Cabernet. Its bright red fruit, smoke, and oak aromas and flavors should make a nice pairing with grilled meats.
