Deep garnet in color, the 2010 Serpico Cabernet Sauvingon is scented of creme de cassis, dried Provence herbs and menthol with hints of chocolate box, dried lavender and pencil shavings. Full-bodied with tons of cassis flavor in the mouth, it has a medium level of slightly astringent tannins and just enough acidity to enliven through the long finish with lingering herbal notes. Drink it now to 2019.
