The 2020 Perpetua continues down the evolutionary path toward tighter, highly structured chardonnay, partially at least due to the introduction of more fruit from the cooler Paradise Ranch vineyard on the Naramata Bench. This year 23%. It is an intense, solid, flinty style with great power and length. Expect generous aromas of just ripe apricot, toast, hazelnut, lemon and all kinds of spice. It is full bodied, taut and intense with excellent to outstanding length. This should drink well throughout the decade, needing to pair with dishes equally as bold and intent.
