Winemaker's Notes: Under the greenish yellow colour, the delicate nose evokes floral and fruity notes. On the palate, it offers a broad mouthfeel that leads into a medium finish. Enjoy this dry, fruity white featuring refreshing acidity with salads or seafood dishes.
Expert Review: Such a clever wine, the Masi Masianco unravels one of the ways to bring pinot grigio to the fore and make it perfect for today's lover of international wines. With the addition of 25% the local Verduzzo (picked just a bit overripe) the winery has done a superb job of fattening up the wine a bit. The result: A very delicious, rewarding white, with plenty of juiciness on the palate and a fine crispness in the aftertaste. Flavors show core fruit and delectable ripeness. I favor paring this one with an oven-roasted chicken. Score: 91 points -- Wilfred Wong of Wine.com
