One of Marietta’s most serious wines is their 2014 Angeli Cuvée, a Zinfandel-dominated blend with Petite Sirah and Carignan. They make about 2,000 cases of this Sonoma wine. It is a delicious fruit-forward wine with loads of raspberry, black cherry and roasted Provençal herbs. It is Mediterranean in style with medium to full body and a whopper at 15.3% natural alcohol, but there is not a trace of heat. It is fruit-driven, spicy, earthy and hedonistic.
