This offers sassafras, anise and mesquite aromas, backed by gently mulled plum and raspberry fruit flavors. Black tea, cinnamon and incense details line the finish. A bit atypical, with a perfumy wood spice persona, but still appealing. Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. Best from 2020 through 2027. 625 cases made, 30 cases imported. — JM
