Today, we are very pleased to offer you a selection of wines from Olivier Leflaive, Maison and Domaine respectively, one of the most respected names producing wines in Burgundy today. About:
The Leflaive family has been rooted in Puligny Montrachet since 1717. In 1984 Olivier Leflaive launched his own company Olivier Leflaive Frères with the help of his uncle Vincent and his brother Patrick. He quickly established his own reputation amongst Burgundy's finest négociants. In 1988 Franck Grux took over as a winemaker and still holds this role today. Over the next two decades he was able to establish strong, long-term relationships with the best growers and the quality of the wines is outstanding. Olivier Leflaive Frères is known today as a small négociant of high quality with a focus on the whites from the famous villages of Puligny, Chassagne and Meursault. Olivier Leflaive is continuously expanding and since 2010 he has acquired access to some of the familiar vineyard holdings and the Domaine Olivier Leflaive wines are now crafted from these plots. The entire philosophy of Olivier Leflaive has always been to produce simply great wines, starting from vines with great grapes. Olivier, Franck and their team are lucky to have very strong relationships with some of the best winegrowers on the Côte, people who grow their wines with care and attention. Although the quality of the harvest is key, vinification and ageing also play a major role in bringing out the essence of each appellation. Franck Grux and his team make it their daily task to ensure the quality of the wines and respect for the terroir. As such, the maison's approach is to treat each cuvee individually.

An admirably cool yet distinctly ripe nose offers up notes of white peach, pear and dried rose petal that are followed by impressively-scaled rich, full, powerful and palate staining broad-shouldered flavors that brim with dry extract. Despite the outsized concentration and weight, the sappy and long, linear and very dry finish remains light on its feet with absolutely no sense of ponderousness. In a word, stunning." We use Canada Post for the majority of deliveries and a courier for those nearest our location. If you are not at home when Canada Post attempts delivery of your package, they will leave a note with the nearest pickup location. By law, we cannot ship outside of the province and packages delivered by Canada Post cannot be left on the doorstep. Orders for downtown Vancouver may arrive the same or next day depending on time of order. Order cut-off is generally 10am PST on a best-effort basis. We will contact you if we require more information to set up delivery.
