There is a pronounced petrol influence to the hazelnut, pear and acacia blossom-suffused aromas that are trimmed in a discreet but not invisible whiff of wood. The succulent, round and generous medium-bodied flavors retain a lovely sense of vibrancy as well as displaying a subtle bead of minerality on the balanced and focused finale. This isn't the most refined example but it's really quite good in its fashion. Note that it could easily be enjoyed now but should also reward mid-term cellaring.
