Bright, moderately saturated red. Cool, medicinal red cherry and menthol on the nose. The medicinal quality carries through onto the palate, where red raspberry and red licorice flavors are currently cut off by drying tannins. A bit lean and dry but finishes with decent length and perfume. Winemaker Frédéric Barnier told me that Jadot's vineyards in Beaune were the hardest-hit by hail in 2014, followed by Volnay and then Pommard.
