Made by Luis Segundo Correas, from Cabernet grown at 850m above sea level, from 70 year-old vines. This wine offers excellent value and impressive quality, as I've come to expect from this producer. Expect classic Cabernet aromas: graphite, black currents, savoury spices, tobacco, leather and crushed mint. It is intense and inky in the mouth with appealing juiciness. Cocoa, espresso and spice flavours balance the bright fruit. Good weight and complexity; a solid everyday red.
