Luis Seabra 2017 Xisto Ilimitado White 750ml

The 2017 Branco Xisto Ilimitado is a 50/20 blend of Rabigato and Códega, with Gouveio and Viosinho principally filling out the blend. It was aged for seven months in used French oak and comes in at 12.7% alcohol. In bottle only a week when seen, this still showed well. This is light and clean with modest concentration. It is from higher altitudes, of course, which offsets the 2017 vintage characteristics to some extent. It still lacks some verve and finishes in a fairly straightforward fashion.
