Description
Good full, bright red. Less fruity on the nose than the Beaune Clos des Ursules, with pepper and spices dominating today. Supple and sweet, offering good size and volume but not yet filled in. Red fruits began to emerge as the wine opened in the glass. Broad on the finish, showing distinctly firm tannins.
