Based in the Languedoc, the superb terroir of Cazal Viel was first planted by Roman warriors during the construction of Via Domitia. Following the French Revolution, the Miquel family acquired the estate and thus began the Miquel legacy of wine producers. The vineyards are cultivated using the philosophy of ‘sustainable agriculture’ to fully express the vines and the terroir. This cultivation yields great wines which bear Laurent Miquel’s signature: delicacy, balance and minerality.
