Description
Tasted from barrel, the 2014 Morgon Cuvée Marcel Lapierre, which comes from the older vines located in various parcels, has refined raspberry and crushed strawberry fruit on the nose, the oak nicely in sync already. The palate has a sorbet-fresh opening – orange zest, strawberry and red cherry, with a pleasant structure lending length on the finish. Already harmonious, this should turn into an attractive Beaujolais.
Score: (89 - 91) points
