(this 2.6-hectare vineyard is situated in a clos near Tournus, at a higher altitude than the estate's vines in Uchizy and close to the river, on clay and rock soil; one-third done in foudres and two-thirds in demi-muids; this fruit ripens very early and is always the first to be picked): Light yellow-green. High-toned, slightly exotic scents of nectarine and musky lime. Not particularly complex but offers lovely pliancy of texture and good ripe framing acidity. Less silky-rich than the 2015 version but finishes dry and firm.
