(from a west-facing vineyard on very shallow soil above mother rock; from the same geologic era as Vergisson and Solutré, according to winemaker Caroline Gon, who made the wine in a small foudre in 2014 "for precision"): Pale, bright yellow. Musky crushed-rock nose suggests a wine with tension. At once dense and juicy, displaying very good cut to its flavors of lemon and minerals. Finishes with a dusty, tactile stony quality and lovely citrus lift. These vines can mature very fast at the end and need to be picked with precision, noted Gon.
