Description
The best Italian Chardonnay hails from the hillsides of cool climate regions of Northern Italy, most notably: Alto Adige and Friuli. Almost always made in an un-oaked fashion (Neutral large oak casks used partially for textural gains and nuance addition), it is a wine that expresses the pure minerality of Chardonnay with beautiful acidity and crisp fruit flavours.
The 2021 Leggiero made from old vines grown on the slopes of the Golden Mile and our Eagle Bluff vineyard offers up a balance of green apple, quince, bergamot, and key lime. The palate is chiseled with a great burst of lime zest and tart pear.
Fresh Oysters with Mignonette and a squeeze of Lemon is a no brainer. Steamed Mussels in a Coconut, Ginger & Lemongrass Broth is another winning combination. Also, roasted Butternut Squash with Toasted Pine Nuts or a Vegetarian Pasta with a Chunky Tomato Basil Sauce.

We use Canada Post for the majority of deliveries and a courier for those nearest our location. If you are not at home when Canada Post attempts delivery of your package, they will leave a note with the nearest pickup location. By law, we cannot ship outside of the province and packages delivered by Canada Post cannot be left on the doorstep. Orders for downtown Vancouver may arrive the same or next day depending on time of order. Order cut-off is generally 10am PST on a best-effort basis. We will contact you if we require more information to set up delivery.
