Winemaker's Notes:

The pinnacle of our red winemaking program. This Grand Total is, we believe, the absolute best we have ever produced, dense, dark, concentrated and superb. All the parcels of fruit used in the 2012 were cropped at one bunch per shoot, resulting in under 3 tons per acre, offering incredible flavour intensity across all varieties. As in recent years we have leaned towards a Pomerol style with this wine using 60% Merlot, 27% Cabernet Franc and 13% Cabernet Sauvignon in the final assemblage. At almost 15% alcohol, the ripeness and concentration achieved in this release is beyond compare in Canada.
