Description
The stone feather [steinfeder] grass (Stipa pennata) is also called feather grass or women's hair and is the namesake for this light category of Wachau white wines. The stone feather grass grows in the Wachau especially on the steep meadows in the immediate vicinity of the terraces of the vineyards and is as light as a feather and fragrant in its structure as the wine of the same name. The Steinfeder is traditionally used in the Wachau as a hat ornament for customs purposes.

If you are not at home when Canada Post attempts delivery of your package, they will leave a note with the nearest pickup location.
