Another Marquis Wine Exclusive!
This 60/40 blend of Syrah and Touriga Nacional from Portugal is from a vineyard area of 20 hectares. Hand-selected for quality, the grapes are quickly chilled upon their arrival at the winery. Then, they undergo malolactic fermentation before spending 12 months in new French oak barriques.
Why is this called the "23 Barricas?" Because only the best 23 barrels were selected to create this unique blend.
Tasting: This wine is deep plum-red in the glass with complex and delicate aromas on the nose. It's full-flavoured with an elegant profile and soft tannins. This red is a perfect accompaniment to Mediterranean cuisine.
