Haywire 2017 Chardonnay 750ml

The grapes for this Chardonnay were grown on a very special terraced vineyard that hovers above Trout Creek in Summerland. It was fermented using the wild yeasts of the vineyard and therefore really evokes the site it was grown on. Think grass, sage, and Ponderosa pines. It is an elegant concrete aged wine, showing citrus and peachy notes with an impossibly long, stony finish. Pair with shellfish, cream-based sauces, and roasted fowl. Enjoy! --Winemaker
