"Hacienda López de Haro Reserva 2011 displays a certain degree of complexity on the nose. Aromas of blackcurrants, blackberries and raspberries, notes of spices, hints of old leather and some menthol remembrances. A masterly aged wine, the palate is pleasant and gentle. Medium-bodied, with a well-balanced acidity and velvety tannins. Notes of black fruit, some lactic touches, a hint of vanilla and cinnamon and a dash of graphite. Long, pleasant, spicy finish."
