Domaine Moulinier 2018 Viognier Pays d'Oc
West of Béziers in the heart of Southern France, Domaine Moulinier is a charming estate nestled in the hills outside the village of Saint-Chinian. Mouth-watering aromas of banana, apricot, white flower, baking spices and toasted hazelnuts. Uplifting acidity cuts through the weight. Pair with butter poached halibut topped with an apricot salsa.
Domaine Moulinier 2018 St. Chinian Rose
70% Syrah 30% Grenache
Stéphane Moulinier is a fifth generation winemaker, following in the footsteps of his trailblazing father who was the first in the region to plant Syrah vines. This rosé is ripe and focused, with a core of strawberry, raspberry, pear, and hints of dewy pink flowers. Pair with tiger prawn ceviche or paella.
Filo di Vino 2018 Verdicchio Classico Superiore
Verdicchio is a young, pleasant white wine with notes of citrus and peach accompanied by a soft mineral quality. Pair with white wine and fennel mussels or a mixed seafood salad.
Boscarelli 2016 Vino Nobile di Montepulciano
85% Sangiovese 5% Colorino 5% Canaiolo 5% Mammolo
Established in 1962, it’s now run by third-generation brothers Luca and Nicolò De Ferrari, who have gradually replanted the vineyards since 1987. A spectrum of enticing aromas greets the nose; from rose, violets and wild cherry to sage and thyme. Elegant, savory and deceptively light on its feet. The palate proposes sweet yet tangy fruit with layers of finessed, powdery tannin. 94 points from Wine Spectator. Pair with braised beef cheeks on polenta or eggplant parmesan.
Marquis de Mons 2016 Margaux
64% Merlot 36% Cabernet Sauvignon
Château La Tour de Mons has become one of the leading Cru Bourgeois properties in the Médoc with a long and illustrious history dating back to 1615. Marquis de Mons is the second wine of Château la Tour de Mons, coming from a single vineyard located in the northern part of the Margaux appellation. Elegant and expressive, this red evokes layers of cranberry and white flower. The palate shows a lighter side of Bordeaux; strawberries, cranberries and a charming toasted note. Pair with veal topped with a blackberry, tarragon compote.
Chateau Cerons 2010 Cerons 375ml
90% Sémillon 5% Muscadelle 5% Sauvignon Blanc
Harvesting in several passes when the noble rot has reached optimal maturity. This dessert wine gives a nice mix of citrus peel, spring flowers and zesty lemon sorbet on the nose. A delightful concentration of honey and ripe, yellow fruits on the palate. Freshness and acidity lift the finish for a beautifully vibrant expression. Pair with pear tart, zesty lemon meringue, or Roquefort drizzled with honey.
