This is one of two Barberas they produce, one made and aged in stainless steel and the Morrasina, which sees 18 month of aging in small French barrels 225L, new and used. This gives the wine more spiciness, depth, texture and roundness. I think this wine offers incredible value. Quite a classic vintage, the 13s have lots of focus, intensity and class. This wine offers incredible floral notes, lavender, spice and smooth finish and tannin structure.
