The 2011 Hacedor de Mundos Cabernet Franc from Maule matured in used French barriques for 18 months. This is a mixture of aromatic herbs, flowers, wild berries and spices, elegant and showy. The palate is very tasty, you see the Cab tannins there, but they are nicely padded by the juicy fruit and the superb acidity; this makes it both light and intense, powerful and long. Simply great. 4,500 bottles were filled in January 2013.
