2015 was a tannic year, and the 2015 Portezuelo Vineyard manages to keep its poise. This is always very balsamic, and in this vintage, it feels super varietal, with the tree bark-like rusticity of the Cariñena and a slightly dusty personality. After some time in the glass, it takes off with lots of aromatic herbs and even flowers. This is lot number 68. 2,450 bottles were filled in December 2016. They didn't manage to produce this wine in the rainy 2016 vintage, so we'll have to wait for 2017 and 2018.
